The Queen has appointed Nicholas Ian Hill to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at Nottingham County Court with effect from 12 March 2018.

Nicholas Ian Hill, aged 48, will be known as District Judge Hill. He was called to the Bar (L) in 1993. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010.
