District Judge Appointment: Jonathan James

The Queen has appointed Jonathan Charles James to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Wakefield Civil Justice Centre with effect from 6 August 2018.

Notes to editors

Jonathan Charles James, aged 55, will be known as District Judge Jonathan James. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1996. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010.
