District Judge Appointment: Lindsay

The Queen has appointed Claire Louise Lindsay to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Michael Gove MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Teesside Combined Court Centre with effect from 12 April 2016.

Claire Louise Lindsay, aged 49, will be known as District Judge Lindsay. She was called to the Bar (M) in 1991. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge and a Fee-paid Tribunal Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber both in 2013.
