The Queen has appointed Lynsey Claire Newman to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit based at Luton County Court with effect from 2 January 2019.

Lynsey Claire Newman, aged 40, will be known as District Judge Newman. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 2002. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2015.
