District Judge Appointment: O’Donnell

The Queen has appointed Geraldine Mary O’Donnell to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Midland Circuit, based at Stoke-on-Trent Combined Court with effect from 14 February 2022.

Background Information

Geraldine Mary O’Donnell, aged 52, will be known as District Judge O’Donnell. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1993. She was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Social Entitlement Chamber) in 2013.
