The Queen has appointed Richard Lloyd Griffiths to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Elizabeth Truss MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Western Circuit, based at Exeter Combined Court Centre and Barnstaple County Court with effect from 30 January 2017.

Richard Lloyd Griffiths, aged 38, will be known as District Judge Richard Griffiths. He was called to the Bar (M) in 2000. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013.
