District Judge Appointment: Richard Hayes

The Queen has appointed Richard James Hayes to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Clerkenwell and Shoreditch County and Family Court with effect from 26 March 2018.

Notes to editors

Richard James Hayes, aged 44, will be known as District Judge Richard Hayes. He was called to the Bar (L) in 1995. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2015.
