The Queen has appointed Carolyn Ann Rothwell to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Ipswich County and Family Court with effect from 16 April 2018.

Carolyn Ann Rothwell, aged 49 will be known as District Judge Rothwell. She was called to the Bar (L) 1991. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2015.
