The Queen has appointed Russell Clive Andrew Stone to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Barrow-in-Furness County and Family Court with effect from 13 August 2018.

Russell Clive Andrew Stone, aged 48, will be known as District Judge Russell Stone. He was called to the Bar(I) in 1992. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013.
