District Judge Appointment: Salmon

The Queen has appointed Jonathan Carl Salmon to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed him tothe Midland Circuit, based at Birmingham Civil and Family Justice Centre with effect from 23 June 2014.

Jonathan Carl Salmon, aged 49, will be known as District Judge Salmon. He was called to the Bar (I) in 1987. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2003 and as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber (Social Security and Child Support) in 2013.
