District Judge Appointment: Sarah Langley

The Queen has appointed Sarah Elizabeth Langley to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Elizabeth Truss MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Northern Circuit, to be based at St Helens County and Family Court with effect from 24 November 2016.

Notes to editors

Sarah Elizabeth Langley, aged 37, will be known as District Judge Sarah Langley. She was called to the Bar (L) in 2001. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013.
