The Queen has appointed Wasim Uddin Taskeen to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Stockport County and Family Court with effect from 26 March 2018.

Wasim Uddin Taskeen, aged 44 will be known as District Judge Taskeen. He was called to the Bar (L) in 1998. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2015.
