District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Appointment: Dodd

The Queen has appointed Margaret Ann Dodd to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at St Albans’s Magistrates’ Court with effect from 4 June 2018.

Notes to editors

Margaret Ann Dodd, aged 60, will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Dodd. She was called to the Bar (M) in 1979. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Court) in 2000.
