District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Appointment: Dodds

The Queen has appointed Malcolm Douglas Dodds to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Elizabeth Truss MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South East Circuit, based at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court with effect from 31 October 2016.

Malcolm Douglas Dodds, aged 57, will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Dodds. He was called to the Bar (M) in 1984. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Court) in 2012.
