The Queen has appointed Nicholas John Wattam to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Guildford Magistrates’ Court with effect from 4 June 2018.

Nicholas John Wattam, aged 48, will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Wattam. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1996. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Court) in 2009.
