First-time judicial appointments – pre-application seminar in Liverpool

A pre-application seminar for those seeking to apply for a first-time judicial appointment will be held in Liverpool on Thursday 14 March 2019, from 3-5.30pm.

It is being offered as part of the Judicial Diversity Committee’s support programme to encourage greater diversity within the judiciary.

The afternoon workshop will be held in the first floor conference room, Liverpool Civil and Family Court, 35 Vernon Street, Liverpool L2 2BX. It’s specifically aimed at suitably qualified legal professionals who meet the eligibility criteria.

The workshop will seek to ensure that first time applicants are better prepared for the selection process, thus increasing their chances of success. There will be up-to-date guidance and advice on the JAC’s selection process and an opportunity to hear a serving judge talk about their experience of judicial office.

Confirm your eligibility and register here (external link, opens in a new tab)

Places are strictly limited and will be allocated to those eligible on a first come first served basis.
