International Women’s Day 2019


International Women’s Day was first celebrated in 1911. It is a global event celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

Lady Justice Hallett, the senior judicial lead on diversity, was in conversation with Lady Justice Nicola Davies in a podcast. The judges looked back on their long careers and journey to the Court of Appeal. Things have definitely improved for women in the law, but there is still a long way to go.
