Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) Retirement: Parker

Judge Carol Ann Parker retires with effect from 1 May 2019. 

Notes to editors 

Judge Parker (60) was called to the Bar in 1983 and admitted as a Solicitor in 1990 (admitted as a Solicitor in Hong Kong in 1991 and a Barrister and Solicitor in New Zealand in 1992). She was appointed a full-time Member of the NZ Refugee Status Appeals Authority (now Immigration and Protection Tribunal) in 1996, a part-time Immigration Adjudicator in 2001 and a full-time Immigration Adjudicator in 2002. She was appointed an Immigration Judge (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) in 2005 (now known as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber)).
