Judicial Diversity Event to be held in Sheffield 27 September

A Pre-application seminar for those seeking to apply for a first-time Judicial appointment is being offered as part of the Judicial Diversity Committee’s support programme to encourage greater diversity within the judiciary.

The afternoon workshop will be held at Sheffield Magistrates Court and is specifically for suitably qualified legal professionals who meet the eligibility criteria. The workshop will seek to ensure that first time applicants are better prepared for the selection process, thus increasing their chances of success and will provide up to date guidance and advice on the JAC’s selection process and an opportunity to hear a serving judge talk about their experience of judicial office.

Places are strictly limited and will be allocated to those eligible on a first come first served basis.
