Jury trial working group update

The jury trial working group met again this week to consider the early safe resumption of new trials at the Old Bailey, Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester Minshull Street, Reading, Warwick, and Winchester.

Derby and Nottingham have also been assessed but are not yet suitable for jury trials at this stage.

The working group, which is chaired by Mr Justice Edis, reports to the Lord Chief Justice Lord Burnett.
