Senior Circuit Judge Retirement: Collier QC

His Honour Judge Peter Neville Collier QC retires as a Senior Circuit Judge with effect from 2 June 2018.

Notes to editors 

His Honour Judge Collier QC (70) was called to the Bar (I) in 1970, took Silk in 1992 and elected a Bencher in 2002. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1984, a Recorder in 1988, a Deputy High Court Judge in 1998 and a Senior Circuit Judge and Honorary Recorder of Leeds in 2007. He was the Chancellor of the Diocese of Wakefield from 1992 to 2006, Chancellor of the Diocese of Lincoln from 1998 to 2006 and appointed Chancellor of the Diocese of York in 2006. He was appointed Vicar General of the Province of York in 2008.
