The Queen has appointed Siobhan Marie Kelly to be a Specialist Civil Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon, has appointed Siobhan Marie Kelly to be a Specialist Civil Circuit Judge based at Leeds Combined Court Centre with effect from 4 January 2021.
Background information
Siobhan Marie Kelly, aged 48, she will be known as Her Honour Judge Kelly. She was called to the Bar (G) in 1995. She was appointed as both a Deputy District Judge and as a Recorder in 2010, as a Assistant Coroner in 2012 and as a District Judge in 2014.
