Master Haworth retires as a Taxing Master of the Senior Courts Costs Office (Costs Judge) with effect from 1 January 2021.
Background information
Master Peter Aynge Haworth (69) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1975. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 1992 and a Member of the Civil Procedure Rule Committee from 1996 to 1999. He was a Solicitor Member and Chairman of the Solicitors’ Disciplinary Tribunal from 1999 to 2006 and appointed a Deputy Taxing Master of the Supreme Court Taxing Office in 2002. He was appointed a Lieutenant Bailiff of Guernsey in 2003 and a Taxing Master of the Senior Courts Costs Office (Costs Judge) in 2006.
