Tribunal Judge Laurence Julian Bennett retires as a Deputy Regional Tribunal Judge with effect from 16 November 2018. 

Notes to editors 

Tribunal Judge Bennett (70) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1972. He was appointed a Lawyer Chairman of the Rent Assessment Panel in 1990 and a Legal Chairman of the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal for England (now known as Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Health, Education and Social Care Chamber)) in 1994. He was appointed a Lawyer Vice President of the Rent Assessment Panel (now known as Deputy Regional Tribunal Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber)) in 2003.
