Principal Tribunal Judge Edward Francis Cousins retires with effect from 12 October 2014.

Principal Tribunal Judge Cousins (71) was called to the Bar (G) in 1971. He was appointed a part-time Immigration Adjudicator in 1999, a Deputy Chancery Master in 2000, the Chief Commons Commissioner in 2002, and as the salaried full-time Adjudicator to Her Majesty’s Land Registry in September 2003 (now known as the Principal Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber), and Deputy Upper Tribunal Judge (Lands Chamber)). He became a Judge by Request of the Upper Tribunal (Tax and Chancery Chamber) in July 2013.
