Tribunal Judge Retirement: Shimmin

Tribunal Judge Darrell Geoffrey Shimmin retires with effect from 1 April 2019. 

Notes to editors 

Tribunal Judge Shimmin (68) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1975. He was appointed a Deputy District Judge (Civil) in 1992, to the Panel of Chairmen of the Independent Tribunal Service in 1993 and a full-time Immigration Judge (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) in 2003 (now known as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber).
