Circuit Judge Retirement: Statman
His Honour Judge Philip Richard Statman retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 1 April 2025.
Background information
His Honour Judge Statman was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1975. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1997, a Recorder in 2000 and a Circuit Judge in 2002. He was a Diversity and Community Relations Judge from 2015 to 2025.
