In relation to the above numbered case on 24 January 2020, His Honour Judge Rawlings, sitting as a Judge in the County Court at Birmingham Civil Justice Centre, sentenced the Defendant in that case, to a custodial sentence of 2 months for contempt of court on breach of an Injunction Order dated 25 February 2019. The basis of the sentence imposed is that  Samba Faal

Was in breach of the Injunction, by:

The Respondent has committed two breaches of the Interim Civil Injunction made on 25 February 2019 (extended on 15 March 2019 and amended on 10 April 2019):

1. Entering the area of Erdington on a date between 26 February 2019 and 13 June 2019, in breach of prohibition 5;

(Total) 2 months imprisonment

2. Participating in the making of a YouTube/ music video that incites, encourages or glorifies gangs, violence and drugs-related activity on a date between 26 February 2019 and 13 June 2019, in breach of prohibition 6.

(Total) 2 months imprisonment

These breaches were contrary to the terms of the Injunction Order dated 25 February 2019 to which Samba Faal was subject.
