Pursuant to paragraph 13 of Practice Direction Committal for Contempt of Court

Open Court

On 24 March 2020, Bernard Erskine was found in Contempt of Court (on his own admission) for having wilfully breached the Order of 10 December 2019 (as thereafter amended), which breach included but was not limited to (1) an incident at McDonalds involving a deep fat fryer; and (2) behaviour in Court.

It was Ordered that Bernard Erskine be committed for contempt to Her Majesty’s Prison for a total period of 36 weeks in respect of the breach dealt with on 24March 2020, or until lawfully discharged if sooner.
