Committal for Contempt of Court in Open Court at the County Court sitting at Bow: Perrin

|Contempt of Court

Committal for contempt of court heard in open court at the County Court sitting at Bow.

In the matter of claim number B03 BO 958 on the 31st day of January 2017 I,  District Judge Vokes  sentenced Michael Perrin  to a custodial sentence of 6 months  for contempt of court. The basis of the sentence was that he had breached an anti-social behaviour order by entering prohibited premises. There had been a significant number of previous breaches aggravated by the this breach occurring within days of his release from a previous sentence. His conduct showed a flagrant disregard for the order and the authority of the court to which he was subject.
