Michael Scanlon

  1. In relation to an order dated

21 March 2016

  1. Which provided that the Respondent/ Defendant should not (among other things)

i) use or threaten to use violence towards any person who resides in or in the neighbourhood of 17 Mitchell Street, Eccles, Manchester

  1. The court found that [following admissions made] he had disobeyed and breached that order by

i) shouting abuse including “I want you fucking dead” and “I’m going to kill you” to Mark Patterson, who resides in the neighbourhood of the above address, contrary to the above provision of the order

  1. And imposed the following sentence(s) for that breach

i) 28 days imprisonment suspended until 21 March 2017 on condition that there is compliance with the Order dated 21 March 2016

  1. Accordingly it was ordered that Michael Scanlon

Be committed for contempt to prison for a (total) period of 28 days. The order is suspended until 21 March 2017 and will not be put into force if during that time (2) Michael Scanlon complies with the

terms of the Order dated 21 March 2016.
