Delve and another -v- The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions

The appellant appeals the order of the Divisional Court (3rd October 2019) that dismissed the claim for judicial review.

In successive statutes between 1995 and 2014 Parliament ahs legislated to equalise the State Pension Age (SPA) between men and women.  Legislation has contained a timetable for the adjustment of SPA, structured for successive cohorts of women defined by age, initially to age 65, subsequently to ae 66, rising to age 68.  The appellants are women born in the 1950’s affected by these changes.
