This is a challenge under s.66 of the Anti-social behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 to the validity of a public spaces protection order made by the Defendant local authority on 10 April 2018.
The appellants are regularly involved in vigils run by the Good Counsel Network (GCN) outside the Marie Stopes UK West London Centre (Centre). GCN is a women’s organisation with a Christian ethos, which offers advice, practical help and moral support to provide an alternative for women considering having an abortion. The Centre provides, amongst other healthcare services, both medical and surgical abortion procedures.
