The FJC has now published the second edition of this useful guide for the family judiciary, courts and legal advisers. A plain English version, aimed particularly at those without legal representation or who want to sort out the finances themselves, has been published by Advicenow. It explains in clear language what a judge might do, or take into account, in respect of financial settlements for couples getting divorced or ending a civil partnership.
