Appeal from a decision of the Administrative Court dated 14 February 2020.
This appeal concerns the lawfulness of provisions of a document entitled Hate Crime Operational Guidance (HCOG) that is published by the Respondent, the College of Policing. Specifically, the appeal concerns the provisions in the HCOG on the recording of so-called non-crime hate incidents. The Appellant is an individual who made a number of posts on Twitter that were recorded as non-crime hate incidents by Humberside Police.
