Administrative Court
Considers the lawfulness of the acts and omissions of central and local Government, regulatory and disciplinary bodies, inferior courts and tribunals, and other public bodies and officials exercising public functions. It has both a Civil and Criminal jurisdiction.
Admiralty Court
Deals with shipping and maritime disputes, such as: collision, salvage and carriage of cargo.
Circuit Commercial Courts
The Circuit Commercial Courts are specialist courts that enable business disputes brought anywhere in the country to be tried by judges with specialist commercial law expertise.
Commercial Court
The Commercial Court specialises in the determination of a wide range of significant commercial disputes, many of them international in nature. It also supports arbitrations based in England and Wales.
Financial List
The Financial List is a specialist cross-jurisdictional list set up to address the particular business needs of parties litigating on financial matters.
Planning Court
Deals with all judicial reviews and statutory challenges involving planning matters including appeals and applications.
King’s Bench Civil Lists
This area deals with a wide range of cases including: personal injuries and fatal accidents, clinical negligence, breach of contract, non-payment of a debt, false imprisonment and Human Rights.
Technology and Construction Court
This specialist court deals principally with technology and construction disputes.
