District Judge Mawdsley – Death in Service
The Lord Chief Justice, The Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon, and the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP, were saddened to learn of the death of District Judge Matthew Mawdsley on 16 December 2022.
Background information
District Judge Matthew Mawdsley (54) was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1991. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2019 and a District Judge in December 2022.
