Judicial College Prospectus 2026 to 2027

This year’s annual prospectus sets out the training programme available to all judicial office holders for 2026 to 2027, including brief descriptions of each course and the intended learning outcomes. In addition to the courses outlined here, the Judicial College will deliver a number of induction seminars for those taking up a judicial role for the first time or assuming responsibilities in new areas of law. The programme of induction and continuation courses is complemented by a wide range of supporting resources, including webinars, eLearning modules, guidance materials and training videos, designed to enhance and consolidate learning.

Judicial education in domestic abuse

In support of its ongoing commitment to being more open and outward-facing under the Judicial College Strategy 2026 to 2030, the Judicial College has produced a summary of how magistrates and judges in the family and criminal courts are trained to handle cases of domestic abuse.
