Mr Justice Saini
Pushpinder Saini became a judge of the High Court in 2019.
He is authorised to sit in the Commercial Court, Administrative Court, Planning Court (Significant Cases), Competition Appeal Tribunal and Media and Communications List.
He is currently the Lead Presider of the Western Circuit and hears serious criminal trials as well as sitting in the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division).

He grew up in Southall, West London and attended Dormers Wells Comprehensive School. He then attended Corpus Christi College Oxford where he took BA and BCL degrees. He taught law at Oxford and the LSE and was called to the Bar at Gray’s Inn, where he was Atkin Senior Scholar. Pushpinder Saini was a pupil and then tenant at 2 Hare Court which in 1998 became Blackstone Chambers.
Pushpinder Saini took Silk in 2008 and specialised in public law and human rights, commercial law, financial services, EU law, and media and entertainment law. He was appointed a Deputy High Court Judge in 2017 before appointment to the High Court Queen’s Bench Division in 2019.
