From 1 October 2020, the Pro Bono Scheme operating in the London Circuit Commercial Court (LCCC) will be extended to include the Commercial Court.

Pro bono means work undertaken without charge, especially legal work for a client on low income.

The scheme is a collaboration between Advocate, the Commercial Court, the LCCC and COMBAR (the Commercial Bar Association). Its aim is to provide pro-bono assistance and representation for litigants in person (LIPs) appearing in applications to be heard in the Commercial Court or the LCCC.

It is intended that this assistance will be limited to applications with a time estimate of one day or less. Full details are available in the documents below.
