Report of the Witness Evidence Working Group

The Business and Property Courts Board, chaired by the Chancellor of the High Court Sir Geoffrey Vos, has welcomed the Report and recommendations of the Witness Statements Working Group, chaired by Mr Justice Popplewell (now Lord Justice Popplewell).
All the recommendations were endorsed in principle by the Board, for further work by the Working Group which will be taken forward in the coming months under the chairmanship of Mr Justice Andrew Baker. That work will include further consideration of the detailed substance, form and timing of any change.
