Triennial Reviews of the Civil Justice Council and Family Justice Council were launched on the 4 November 2013.

The reviews followed a two-stage structure. Stage 1 considered the the continuing need for the CJC and FJC – both in terms of function and form. Following this stage it was agreed that both Councils should continue in their current form. Stage 2 then reviewed the control and governance arrangements of both Councils.

The Ministry of Justice have today (14 July 2015) published the final report of the review.
