Judge of the First-tier Tribunal – Death in Service: Ashley Dias-Patel
The Senior President of Tribunals, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Lindblom, and the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP, were saddened to learn of the death of Judge of the First-tier Tribunal Ashley Dias-Patel on 14 December 2023.
Background information
Judge Ashley Dias-Patel, 43, was admitted to the Roll in 2006. He was appointed as a fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber in 2019, then as a salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber in 2021. He was appointed as a fee-paid Employment Judge in 2021 until 2023.
