Order

On an application by the Claimant for expedition and anonymity Following consideration of the documents lodged by the Claimant

ORDER by the Honourable Mr Justice Jay

  1. The application for anonymity is granted pursuant to CPR r. 39.2, both in relation to the Claimant and the Interested Parties. They will be known in these proceedings only as AB and as X and Y respectively. Nothing may be published which might lead their identification.
  2. The Defendant to file and serve his AoS and Summary Grounds of Defence within 14 days of the date of service of the claim.
  3. A decision will be made on the papers on the application for permission to apply for judicial review as soon as possible thereafter.
  4. Liberty to apply to either party to vary or discharge this Order on 24 hours’ written notice.
  5. Costs reserved.

Observations

There is no provision in the Rules for a reply to the Summary Grounds of Defence. Accordingly, I have made no provision for this.
