On applications by the Claimant for anonymity, urgent consideration and interim relief

Following consideration of the documents lodged by the Claimant

ORDER by the Honourable Mrs Justice Farbey

  1. The application for interim relief is adjourned for hearing on Tuesday 15 July 2025; time estimate: 30 minutes; suitable for a Deputy High Court Judge.
  2. The Defendant shall file and serve a response to the application by 4pm on Friday 11 July 2025.
  3. The Claimant shall file and serve a draft anonymity order by 4pm on Friday 11 July 2025; until then, anonymity is granted on a temporary basis and the Claimant shall be known as BSR.

Reasons

The court would be assisted by oral submissions on interim relief. The Defendant in any event appears confused by the terms of the draft order and an oral hearing will concentrate minds. I cannot locate a draft anonymity order on the file. Please can the Claimant’s solicitors file a draft anonymity order as soon as possible. It is not the duty of the court to compose the order in the immediates list (or at all).
