On 7th August 2024 at the Royal Courts of Justice Sir Anthony Mann found a person had committed a contempt of court and, pursuant to the Practice Direction provides the following details:

Name of person found guilty of contempt of court – Terry Alan Daniel (the above respondent).

Nature of the contempt – breach of undertakings given to the court not to deal with certain properties without the consent of the applicant (Stephen Albert Finbar O’Leary). The undertakings were given in an order in quasi-Tomlin form dated 14th January 2022. The undertakings were broken by Mr Daniel’s charging 5 properties without consent on 3 separate occasions.

Punishment imposed – committal to prison for a period of 6 months, suspended for 2 years on conditions as to compliance with the undertakings in the future and the provision of certain information about the properties, certain loans and other properties belonging to the contemnor.

A written judgment finding the contempt was handed down on 7th August 2024 and will be published when clerical amendments have been finalised. An oral judgment on sentence was delivered and will be published when transcribed.
