On 10 March 2023 District Judge Dodsworth sitting in the County Court at Newcastle upon Tyne found that the defendant, Mr Graham Edmond, was in contempt of court in that he breached paragraph 1 of an order dated 16 September 2022.
The defendant accepted the breach and the Court found that the breach of the order was proven to the criminal standard. This involved the defendant being present within an area that he was excluded from at approximately 1.46 am on 9 March 2023.
The court imposed a sentence that Graham Edmond be committed for contempt to prison for a period of 28 days, less 2 days for time spent on remand, being a total of 26 days.
