In the matter of Regenda Limited -v- Dorian Richmond – case number H00ZP115

District Judge Clarke committed Dorian Richmond to prison for contempt of court. The basis of that sentence was that Dorian Richmond admitted breaching an order made by the court on 2 February 2021 pursuant to Section 1 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. The breaches admitted and sentences imposed were as follows:

  2. Violently damaging the Claimant’s property at 38 Pratt Street Burnley BB10 1RZ on 18 February 2021, in breach of paragraphs 1 and 4 of the injunction order – a sentence of 6 weeks was imposed.

The court directed that the sentences should run concurrently. Accordingly it was ordered that Dorian Richmond be committed for contempt to prison for a total period of 6 weeks or until lawfully discharged if sooner.
