Nature of contempt: in breach of a court order dated 28 August 2020, on 10 July 2021 Mr Meyjes was present in an area from which he was excluded (in a car park next to Shadwell DLR) and was found to be in possession of drugs paraphernalia, including syringes, coils, metal gauze.
Punishment imposed: 56 days imprisonment for each breach on 10 July 2021, to be served concurrently. In addition, a suspended sentence of 120 days custody imposed by the court on 30 October 2020 was activated. The total sentence was therefore 176 days.
