  1. On 13 July 2021, Chris Egwu was found in contempt of court for failure to return, or cause to be returned, three children to this jurisdiction contrary to an order made on 25 February 2021. Chris Egwu was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment, suspended on terms that he must return, or cause to be returned, the three children to this country by 24 August 2021.
  2. The children were not returned by the due date.
  3. Accordingly, on 13 September 2021 the suspended order was executed and a warrant for committal issued.
